Rickety Bridge Case Study

Located between the Dassenberg Mountains and the Franschoek River, the vineyard blends perfectly into an almost picturesque panorama.

Rickety Bridge is a winery with a long tradition, this historic estate was originally part of the great La Provence farm given to French Hugenot farmers in 1694.

With a history going back to 1797, the estate and its legacy have been passed onto its current owner Duncan Spence who has been ownership of the estate since 2000.

Dekro Paints provided Mediflex to recoat the barrel room of Rickety Bridge Wines.

Mediflex is a high gloss, single pack waterborne polyurethane-based coating designed with specific hygiene functionality. The in-film preservative is designed to remain permanently locked in and active, ensuring no growth of surface micro-organisms. Mediflex can be coated onto masonry surfaces without the use of primers which is ideal for cellar environments.
